Craniosacral Therapy
$100
This session focuses on the craniosacral system, a layer of fluid which circulates around the brain and via a tube surrounding the spinal cord down to the sacrum, which is located at the base of pelvis. By tapping into the rhythm of this fluid, I am able to feel for stagnation or blockages in certain areas throughout the central nervous system, cranial joints, and organ systems. My work involves using light pressure (about the weight of a nickel) on specific areas where joints come together, from the base of the spinal cord up to the skull. Because this work directly involves the nervous system and all of its functions (voluntary and involuntary), I will also place my hands on individual organs or extremities that need attention. During this session you will remain fully clothed as I work one hand underneath a sheet beneath the body and the other hand above the body. Craniosacral therapy is a gentle modality that is safe in most instances, even considering previous and current injuries, trauma, or disease symptoms.

Ki, or Qi in Chinese, is the universal life force, the innate divine energy available and accessible to all natural things including the human body. In this hour-long session, I use my training in Usui’s method to place my hands along different energy centers of the body (chakras) to magnetize the life force to these specific areas with the intent of clearing blockages and increasing your access to Qi. When Qi is high and flowing correctly in the body, our ability to not only heal imbalance and disease states increases, we also can achieve a state of vitality and thrive physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
